The Periscope uses Volant's sealed air filter box and high-velocity air intake tube. The air filter box lid also incorporates a hood seal adaptor that funnels air from a hood-mounted snorkel which extends up the passenger side of the Jeep to the roof-line. The snorkel scoop uses a polished aluminum front cover that looks great, and prevents larger debris from entering into the air intake system. The Volant Periscope fits all 07-11 Jeep Wrangler JK's equipped with a 3.8-L engine.
